Building Bridges For Brianna Memorial Ride & Festival
As the Director of ALR Chapter 605 Dallastown, I have experienced my share of suicide losses in my life. I have lost friends, former law enforcement partners, and military friends, but the most impactful loss was that of my 15-year-old daughter, Brianna, to suicide. I, too, struggled with suicidal thoughts to the point that if my friends and community had not stepped in, I would not be alive today. That is why we need to scream from the tops of our lungs and make some noise with our bikes to break the stigma around mental health and suicide.
ALR Chapter 605 Dallastown has partnered with VFW West York Post 8951 and Building Bridges for Brianna to help veterans with their mental health through the 5th Annual Brianna Dorgan Memorial Ride. All funds raised during the ride will go toward veteran mental health services provided by Building Bridges for Brianna.
The 5th Annual Bridge Building Festival and Ride will take place on September 20, 2025. Following the ride, we will end at the festival, which will feature live music, vendors, food trucks, raffles, and much more. We look forward to seeing everyone there, as Brianna loved riding on my Harley and has been with us in spirit every year since her passing.
